It was reported in the Maldon Standard on 2nd September that Maldon District Council (MDC) will not defend the appeal for a 1,000 home development in North Heybridge, the Heybridge Garden Suburb!

Part of the Gladman proposal in Tollesbury was due to MDC opposing developments in the Maldon area and therefore not supplying enough homes to meet their 5 year planning supply.
Hopefully this is good news for Tollesbury, so keep your fingers crossed everybody!
